Japanese Knotweed Surveys carried out across the North West,
and the wider UK

Whether you require an intital consultation or a thorough walkover site survey (and subsequent production of an Invasive Weed Management Plan) Knotweed Eradication is here to help.

How can we help with your Japanese Knotweed survey?

At Knotweed Eradication we will carry out the site survey using our in-house Property Care Association (PCA) Certified Surveyor of Japanese Knotweed (CSJK). We will provide a detailed IWMP (Invasive weed management plan) following the site survey and, after thorough discussion with the client, an appropriate management strategy can be compiled. The treatment programme will then be implemented and managed by our own NPTC, SSTS-qualified colleagues, so you can rely on the works being done correctly. These works will then be subject to our warranties and supported by an IBG (Insurance Backed Guarantee) upon successful completion of the programme. Efficient identification and the appropriate management of land infested with Japanese Knotweed can avoid excessive costs, potential prosecution and prevent structural damage to buildings. We work closely with you to ensure the most cost-effective solutions from a range of treatment options, and it all starts with our Japanese Knotweed Survey.

Knotweed Eradication are fully compliant with Industry Best Practice

As a PCA accredited company, Helmrig Ltd, through Knotweed Eradication, works within industry guidelines ad codes of practise at all times. The primary code of practise is the PCA’s ‘Management of Japanese Knotweed’ (November 2023). You can find more information on the document here.
Our close liaison with experienced, qualified ecologists allows us to be able to prepare for KMP (Knotweed Management Plan), taking in to consideration BNG (Biodiversity Net Gain) and the relevant implications of this for the site. It is now, more than ever, imperative that the client, ecologist and specialist contractor are all on the same page when it comes to managing the site, including for invasive species as these KMPs are often the subject of a planning condition attached to planning consent.
